Canfield

A small town that has a lot going on for it and a wonderful place to call home.

Welcome to Canfield

Beautiful streets, beautiful people, and a beautiful community.

Streetlamps, wide sidewalks, and lots of trees line the streets of Canfield. It is a small town that has a lot going on for it and a wonderful place to call home. The town has a great deal of history with its beginnings going all the way back to 1798. Historical markers throughout the town allow residents to have an appreciation of the history. Not only are the streets lined with trees, but they are everywhere in the town and surrounding the outskirts of the town. The serene image they create is comfortable and welcoming, not to mention healthy for both the residents and the environment.

It is close to major urban areas like Youngstown, Akron, and Pittsburgh but there is no real reason to visit those areas except if you are commuting to work. Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Small towns are not frequently known for their food options but that is not the case in Canfield. The dining scene has lots of variety and plenty of opportunities to grow your palate. The entire family will love the menu and atmosphere at The Phoenix Fire Grill & Bar. The kids will love the buttered penne while you can indulge in the Caribbean Coconut Grouper and a custom cocktail. Zenobia Cuisine & Bar, an authentic Mediterranean restaurant with a delightful menu, has both indoor and outdoor dining and the occasional evening entertainment, though the food is the star of the show. AngeNettas Cafe Restaurant is the preferred pizza and Italian restaurant in town. They also have delicious homemade specialty desserts.

Besides hanging out with your family and neighbors in the backyard, there is plenty to do in Canfield. Children will love The Dublin Grange Theater and everyone in the family will have a fun time bowling at the Amron Lanes. McCune Park is the place to be in the summer during baseball season and the Metropark Disc Golf Course is loads of fun.

The shopping experience in Canfield is fun and creative. The Cracked Crock is an adorable antique and primitive store to add a unique piece to your home decor. It is located right next to the Heritage Cooperative Country Store where you can get all of your lawn and garden products and food for your pets.
